Airport security has changed its management model following the tragic attacks of September 11th.

The Government of the United States launched a new method for selecting the heads of security at the countries airports, which created a new agency: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), depending on the Ministry of Transport.
The aim was to find professionals who can ensure the security of the airport, to prevent a crisis or tragedy as the one caused by the attacks of September 11th in New York.
